Goal?
Our goal with this campaign is to raise $12,000, enough to make 16 more stories of caregiver support like those we will be sharing during the campaign possible. All donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 thanks to a generous challenge grant from an anonymous donor!
Our #GiveToTheJacksDay Campaign Honorees:

Bob BreckBob Breck joined the Jack's community in 2019, after his wife Kathryn was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. Kathryn died in July of this year, and Bob has been juggling a career as a freelance nonprofit consultant, caregiving, and supporting a college aged daughter, Delia. He is far from honored to be a Jack's alumni but is grateful not only for the support he received during Kathryn's illness, but also the kindness and community of the group after her death.

Eric SchepersEric's wife Ashley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer while 34 weeks pregnant in May of 2017. After delivering a health baby girl they received the devastating news that it was Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer; it spread to her liver. After her 1st line of treatment she became NED (no evidence of disease). She was NED until March of 2020. At that time she discovered another lump in her breast and was diagnosed with a secondary primary breast cancer. Covid19 hit and her only option at that time was chemo and then a double mastectomy. She is currently NED again.
