The gathering included a table discussion on why and how Jack’s is dismantling the “hero fixes it alone mentality,” especially prevalent among male family caregivers. Many had heard from Jeff how Jack’s had supported him during the hard times and continues to offer support today. Jeff recently shared his experience hosting the event;
"The food was amazing. The whole thing was really well done. Especially the conversation during the meal. Think dinner conversation, but on a bigger scale. We've all heard about caregiving, but we really focused on it, and why it's so important to support men in that role." - Jeff Fjeld
