Goal?
Walk out of the room armed with valuable info to tackle this thing we call caregiving. It'll be short and sweet, lunch-and-learn style. Take in a fire hose of information and resources while you gobble up a sandwich. This talk is designed especially for new caregivers, and will cover only the fundamentals. We won't go into great detail on each topic, but you will leave knowing about many of the resources that exist to make life easier for you and your loved ones.
Who?
Anyone 18 and older caring for a loved one facing a health crisis.
When?
By request, we work hard to schedule these to fit into the hectic schedules of new caregivers. You can use this link to a book a time online that works best for you.
Where?
Virtual meeting or phone call is what most people want. If you are in the greater Twin Cities metro we will come to you and meet in person in the place of your choosing. You can also come meet us at our office if you prefer.

- About our instructor: Kyle Woody believes that one of the biggest and most important challenges a guy can face in his lifetime is engaging as a caregiver for a loved one with a catastrophic illness. And he believes that every guy has the potential to rise to that challenge and bring to it his boldest and most confident self. Reflecting on his experience as a primary caregiver for his loved one with metastatic colon cancer, he now realizes the principles of excellence and sound teamwork that he preached in professional career should have been applied at home in his caregiving experience. In 2014 he co-founded and became Executive Director of Jack's Caregiver Coalition.
